Changing Lives

Long before the world came to know about the atrocities of Uganda’s Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) through the viral 2012 Kony Campaign, Sister Nyirumbe had been taking care of the survivors of the cruelties of the rebel group. In her work, Sister Nyirumbe encourages women who have undergone cruelties such as rape and violence to make a living for themselves. A passionate advocate for education, she has helped educate over 2000 girls.
